This Standard Holding Die clamps 1-3/8″ (1.375″ decimal) tube in place inside the machine collet, holding it steady while the forming die or head does its work. A secure, properly sized hold keeps the tube from slipping or rotating mid-cycle, which is critical for getting a clean, centered flare or bead. It is sized to work with compatible dies and heads used in tube end forming setups. It is compatible with 2C, 2CP, 3CP w/ die adaptor tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their tube and pipe end-forming tooling.
