Built to grip 2-1/2″ (2.500″ decimal) OD tubing, this Standard Holding Die keeps the workpiece steady through the flaring or beading stroke. Consistent clamping pressure across the tube reduces the chance of marking or deforming the tube outside the forming zone. It is a standard component in tube end finishing tooling used on compatible end-forming machines. It is compatible with 2C, 2CP, 3CP w/ die adaptor tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their tube end finishing tooling.
