This Arbor Adptor adapts the beading head to work with 0.625 – 1.500 diameter tube, extending the usable range of existing tooling without buying a second head. It seats between the head and the bead die/arbor set, and needs to fit snugly to avoid runout during the forming stroke. It is a low-cost way to keep pipe end finishing tooling flexible across a wider range of tube sizes. It is compatible with 3CPV tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their pipe end finishing tooling.
