Sized for 1/8″ (0.125″ decimal) tubing, this Double Flare Die shapes the folded double-flare profile that many hydraulic and brake fittings require. It completes the second half of the double-flare process, after the tube end has been upset by its companion punch. Shops doing tube end finishing on steel or bundy tubing rely on this die style for a flare that resists vibration and pressure cycling better than a single flare. It is part of the 101612 series; compatible with DF tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their tube end finishing tooling.
