Used to hold the flange die in position, this Flange Mandrel keeps the forming setup centered and stable through the flanging cycle. Proper alignment at this stage carries through to gasket seating and bolt-hole registration on the finished flange. It is a companion part to compatible flange dies used in pipe end tooling setups. It is part of the M343 series, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their tube end finishing tooling.
