Built to mate with its corresponding die, this Flare Punch forms the upset or double-flare shape in 3/16″ (0.188″ decimal) tube. Getting this step right sets up the tube wall so the finished flare has enough material to seal properly. It is a common wear item in end finisher tooling kits and is worth replacing at the first sign of galling or rounded edges. It is part of the 101553 series; compatible with DF tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their end finisher tooling.
