This Double Flare Punch drives the forming stroke that shapes 3/4″ (0.750″ decimal) tube, into an upset or double-flare profile. It is matched to its companion die, and the two work together to fold or thicken the tube end before the final flare is set. Wear on this punch shows up as inconsistent flare depth, so keeping a spare on hand helps hydraulic end-forming lines avoid downtime. It is part of the 101553 series; compatible with DF tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their tube and pipe end-forming tooling.
