Built to grip 2-1/2″ (2.500″ decimal) OD tubing, this Heavy Duty Holding Die keeps the workpiece steady through the flaring or beading stroke. Consistent clamping pressure across the tube reduces the chance of marking or deforming the tube outside the forming zone. It is a standard component in pipe end finishing tooling used on compatible end-forming machines. It is compatible with 3CP, 8CP w/ die adaptor tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their pipe end finishing tooling.
