This Roller Adaptor adapts the beading head to work with 6.250 – 8 diameter tube, extending the usable range of existing tooling without buying a second head. It seats between the head and the bead die/arbor set, and needs to fit snugly to avoid runout during the forming stroke. It is a low-cost way to keep tube end finishing tooling flexible across a wider range of tube sizes. It is part of the 800 series; compatible with 8CP tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their tube end finishing tooling.
