This Thin-Wall Upset Punch is sized to 1/4″ (0.250″ decimal) tube, roughly .022 or less wall thickness, and produces the forming stroke needed for a proper double flare or upset end. Because it contacts the tube directly, punch condition has a direct effect on flare consistency and finish quality. It fits standard double-flare tooling setups used across tube and pipe end-forming shops. It is part of the 101778 series; compatible with DF tube end forming machines, and is a good fit for shops standardizing their hydraulic end-forming tooling.
